SERENITY..............

Let me start by saying I've always told my friends and my family....."when I start flying I'm not gonna stop cause its gonna mean for something"!!! Thats exactly what happened..

I was boarding my 1st flight ever and I was thinking to myself wow,,Ive just reached another lil goal in my life... The trip was suppose to be a 1day quick trip to visit a childhood friend that is leaving to Iraq soon. You never know what will happen when our soldiers go over seas so I thought I would visit my dear friend for the day. I enjoyed the beautiful hotel poolside, nice bar and even went to a small bar in the town of El Paso,TX that was playing live rock (pretty cool and different). It finally came time for the good byes. I made it to the airport to board to Dallas then to the Quad Cities but as it was almost time to board when the announcer said they over booked one and that  some one will have to stay behind and that the passenger was going to get flight credit and hotel and food would be taken care of..well guess who got chosen...Me!!! In a way I was excited but then reality hit like oh great my job is going to snap..So I pulled out the Serenity Prayer that goes a lil something like this.......

Well as I lay on this comfortable bed with my comfortable down blankets I thank GOD that I'm safe... I also think about my wonderful Pastor we lost this past week and how he taught us to always look to GOD for our answers and that we all have a purpose in life.. I look forward to learning more of what that is. I plan to travel the world to do what I do best.
As I was waiting to make sure what was going to happen about my flight the most bizarre thing happened!I was talking to a group of ladies about what I loved to do and they were sharing their experience about the convention they attended over the weekend. I continued to share my experience that I had when I was 21 about I had went into a meeting full with ladies that were millionaires and how they inspired me to want to be like them. as I continue to share my million $ experience you will NEVER believe who walks by............BILL GATES(the Billionaire)!!!! I couldn't believe my eyes...how can I be talking about BIG money and one of the riches mans alive walked right past me...my jaw was dropped to the floor...as i watched him walk past me I knew it was a sign that I will be successful. maybe not as much as him but successful enough! :) I still dont know what he was doing in an airport when he probably has his own airline but hey it was him *******Take it Or Leave IT*******
