I met Certified in 2009 at an event I helped coordinate called Iowa's ,"Next to BLOW" Showcase with Iowa Core DJ, DJ Commando. Shortly after I met Certified we started having conference calls with all the independent artist in Iowa that were interested in being a part of an organization DJ Commando had founded called the Iowa Urban Music Movement(I.U.M.M). It was built to help hungry artist get to the next level in their careers. From the beginning stages I always saw Certified getting involved in the events, networking online and always staying updated with the movement. The movement slowly came to a halt in late 2010 but even thru that Certified continued learning independently. Certified now is the CEO to his own label and continues to educate and find new ways to become a more knowledge Indie artist.
