There is LIGHT on the other side of DARKNESS!

Yesterday was payday and along comes bills of course, and a whole lot of them when your doing it by yourself. Its been a roller coaster the past few weeks and a real eye opener that being a single mom doesn't have to be that hard if you just believe GOD will take care of you and your Family. The Father of my children has been in and out of their lives and we just heard he maybe gone for the next 13years. When we heard of such mess the 1st thing that came out of one of my daughters mouth was "So hes not going to see us  graduate from high school"?? That instantly broke my heart and I knew I had to stay strong for them. Although I was angry, sad, and every different emotion you can think I knew It was going to be okay. I have already been doing it with or with out his help and so I thought what is the difference now for me? I just knew I had to keep doing what I've been doing.

Well yesterday I got paid and every dollar was accounted for.I got off work yesterday at 5pm and went strait to the bank, cashed my check, and went strait home to put the money in its proper envelopes. I usually go to Hy-Vee to get my Money orders, envelopes, and pay bills there because everything is closed by the time I get off work. So as i was going thru my money and counting and seeing what i had left i just kept shaking my head. I open up my mail and see a letter from the state. Well my daughters are on the medical card as a partial insurance because their dad carried one at the job he had and I don't have insurance at my current job , the letter stated that starting July 1, 2012 all doctor visits, emergencies and medications ALL have a co-pay and it crossed my mind...Whats up with this ObamaCare???? Any way So I headed out the door with the Twins to do what I do every Friday... Pay Bills!!

I made it to my Moms to visit and laid out all my bills on her table and said...What do I do!?? My Mom just said keep doing what your doing but you have to know God is going to take care of you and there was a sense of peace. So I went home and on my way home I was fighting myself..."Should I stop and just get a bottle and then drink my problems away or should I just save the money I have, go to sleep on it and go to work and continue to let God deal with it"!! That has been the strongest struggle in my late 20's...Knowing when I need to stop turning to alcohol to think things will just get better on their own. So I decided to go home and sleep on it.I had fought my battle again and won!! I woke up just in time to get to work on time...When I scooted to the end of the bed. I saw a crisp $20 bill on the floor. It must have blown out of  the pile of money i was collecting for my bills but either way I knew it was a sign from God and also a reward for making the right decision last night! I just wanted to share this with everyone because I know Im not the only single Mother struggling to make a better living and opportunity for my kids. There are single Fathers out there doing the same thing too... The message here was there is a higher power and when we feel there is no other way....God Know the Way, the truth and the LIGHT!!!
